한국예술종합학교 디자인과를 졸업하고, 2008년 현대자동차 남양연구소에서 Exterior Designer로 커리어를 시작했습니다. 기아 외장디자인팀에서 근무하며 설계·상품·홍보 등과 협업하여 디자인의 실체화 과정을 경험했습니다.
미국에서 산업디자인 스튜디오를 창업하여 EPSON, SEIKO, OCULUS 등 글로벌 브랜드와 협업하며 iF Design, Red Dot Design Award를 수상했습니다. 2015년 중국에 스튜디오를 설립해 다국적 팀(한국·미국·중국·이탈리아)을 리드하며 가구와 인테리어, 브랜드 디자인을 총괄했습니다.
2020년 귀국 후 브랜드 애그리게이터 스타트업의 CDO로서 디자인팀을 이끌며 제품·브랜드·마케팅 전반을 통합 관리했고, 2022년부터는 개인 디자인 스튜디오를 운영하며 기업과 협력해 종합 디자인 솔루션을 제공하고 있습니다.
한국, 미국, 중국 등 다양한 문화권의 협업 경험을 바탕으로 브랜드 정체성과 사용자 경험을 강화하는 디자인 서비스를 제공하고 있습니다.
After graduating from the Korea National University of Arts with a major in Design, I began my career in 2008 as an Exterior Designer at the Hyundai Motor Design Center. During my time at Kia’s Exterior Design Team, I collaborated with engineering, product, and marketing departments, gaining in-depth experience in the process of turning design concepts into reality.
And, I founded an industrial design studio in the United States, collaborating with global brands such as EPSON, SEIKO, and OCULUS, and received international recognition through the iF Design Award and Red Dot Design Award. In 2015, I established another studio in China, leading a multinational team (Korea, U.S., China, Italy) and overseeing furniture, interior, and brand design projects.
After returning to Korea in 2020, I served as Chief Design Officer (CDO) at a brand aggregator startup, leading the design team and managing the integration of product, brand, and marketing design. Since 2022, I have been running my own design studio, providing comprehensive design solutions in collaboration with various companies.
With extensive experience collaborating across Korean, American, Japanese, Italian and Chinese cultural environments, I strive to deliver design services that strengthen brand identity and enhance user experience.
